The Story of PENNSCYPAA

For over three decades, the Pennsylvania State Conference of Young People in AA has been bringing young people together in fellowship, service, and recovery.

1989

PENNSCYPAA is Born

The first Pennsylvania State Conference of Young People in AA was held, bringing together young people in recovery from across the state.

1990s

Growing the Fellowship

Throughout the 90s, PENNSCYPAA grew from a small gathering to a major event, rotating between cities and building a strong tradition of service and fellowship.

2000s

Expanding Horizons

The conference continued to evolve with new formats, larger attendance, and more young people discovering the joy of recovery through the event.

2010s

A New Generation

A fresh wave of young people brought new energy and ideas while honoring the traditions that made PENNSCYPAA special.

Stronger Than Ever

PENNSCYPAA continues to be a beacon of hope for young people in recovery, proving that we can have fun and stay sober!
